Blainroe JSC Revised Results:

Due to an unfortunate error, the TopGolfer Tour has revised the results, prizes and OOM points from Blainroe JSC. A word of special mention is extended to Morgan Pierse from the Grange GC. After returning a 73-gross and being announced as the JSC winner, Morgan contacted the TopGolfer Tour office to disqualify himself as he had shot 74-gross and not the 73-gross that he signed for. As it turns out, his correct score of 74-gross would have been good enough to still claim victory. Golf is a game of integrity, and people like Morgan Pierse are role models for how the game should be played, respected and honoured.

Using revised results, the Blainroe Junior Scratch Cup was won by Patrick Magee from Warrenpoint Golf Club on 75-gross. On 76-gross, 2nd and 3rd places went to a countback. Gerard Synnott from Carton House GC took 2nd and Graham Dunning from Castlewarden GC took 3rd. OOM contenders Michael Kavanagh Jnr (Woodenbridge GC) and Pat Doyle (Glen of the Downs GC) made serious inroads up the leaderboard, with 4th and 5th placed finishes respectively.

Congrats to Paul Dean (SSC Winner) and Patrick Magee (JSC Winner) who both go forward to the TopGolfer Tour PlayOffs at New Forest GC later this year.
