Booking is now open for the the inaugural IJP Trophy at Carton House taking place on the Montgomerie Course on Thursday October 24th.

The event will celebrate the arrival of Ian Poulters’ clothing line, IJP Design, in Ireland.

We’re thrilled to support this event in recognition of all that the IJP Design team have done for our tour since joining us as our official clothing partner in 2013. Their enthusiasm for supporting amateur golf in Ireland has been wonderful for us and our members.

As is typical of the IJP Design team, when planning this event they insisted that it should be of the highest quality and offer exceptional value - philosophy’s matched by this years Irish Open venue Carton House. Both have come together to create an event that achieves just that.

The entry fee is €120 per team of 2 which includes your competitive round on the 2013 Irish Open Montgomerie Course as well as a pair of IJP Trousers for both team members. How this works is that within 5 days of reserving your place on the online timesheet, IJP Design will contact you by email and direct you towards their web site where you can pick 2 pairs of the same trouser of your choice for you and your partner. You can be as daring or as conservative as you like in your selection, but you must choose the same style for both players. After making your choice in the appropriate sizes, these ‘Team Trousers’ will be delivered to your door in advance of the event. This of course means we expect your team to don your team trousers on event day! Please be aware that booking is only available online and credit card details will be required to secure a place for your team.

As this is not a TG Tour Event, it is open to golfers with double-figure handicaps up to a maximum of 20. The format is fourball stableford with each member receiving 3/4 of their official handicap allowance.

As for prizes, IJP Design are offering some beauties, including the winning team receiving £400 each in vouchers for their online shop.
