Colin is the Champ at Kilcock JSC
After investing millions into a redesign, new greens and irrigation system, we felt it was only right to bring Irelands single figure golfers to Kilcock Golf Club to test it for themselves. The TopGolfer Tour is very proud to be associated with a visionary golf club like Kilcock, and they’ve got a new group of admirers after a cracking Junior Scratch event.
Congratulations to Colin Walsh from Citywest Golf Club, winner of the Kilcock JSC 2013 after a superb 73-gross. Playing off 5-hanidcap, Colin’s 34 blows on the back 9 was good enough to edge past Aaron Bagnall (Woodlands GC) on a back 9 countback. Colin now goes forward to the TopGolfer PlayOffs at Concra Wood later this year.
3rd and 4th places went to the men from Mountrath GC, as Gareth Keogh and John Buggie took 3rd and 4th places respectively, and 5th place went to Kevin Boyle from Castlebar GC.
Order of Merit players were out in force, and with six OOM players finishing in the top eight, there’s sure to be quite a bit of movement on our Kelkin Revive Order of Merit leaderboard.
Special mention of congrats to Noel Devlin who aced the par-3 7th, less than 2-hours after receiving his new Golf Buddy Voice+ prize. It’s taken the TopGolfer Tour four seasons to find our first hole in one, so big congrats to Noel.
Prizes for 1st-5th Gross and 1st-2nd Nett have been left at Kilcock Golf Club. Prize winners should contact the pro shop to arrange the collection/ delivery of their prize.
