Cork GC member P.J. Murphy secured victory in his home Junior Scratch Cup yesterday with a really impressive round of 78 in seriously tough conditions. It was an extremely close run thing as he edged out Peter Jones of Kinsale GC on a last 6-hole count back. Mark O’Connor of Kinsale GC finished 3rd with a 79.

The win has secured P.J.‘s invitation to the TopGolfer Tour Championship taking place at Druids Glen on October 1-2.
