Dineen shines in Cork JSC
The TopGolfer Tour returned to Cork for its 3rd stint this season, this time for the Junior Scratch Cup at Cork Golf Club, one of the biggest events of the season each year that attracts over 200 competitors. To win this event and get your name on a Scratch Cup that dates back to 1976 is a serious achievement.
This accomplishment belongs to local member Rory Dineen from Cork Golf Club. His level par gross score was a fantastic round of golf, skilfully created by the Cork junior at the tender age of 15.
As usual, wonderful prizes were provide by our superb Sponsor Partners ECCO Golf, Callaway Golf, IJP Design and Motocaddy. Our events for the month of July also have another prize sponsor in the shape of Beringer Wines. As the Official wine to the PGA Tour, we’re thrilled to be associated with such a high-quality and prestigious wine. In celebrating their association with the PGA Tour, Beringer wine is currently running a promotion on neck collars to offer players the chance to win 1 of 10 luxury weekends for 2 at Wentworth Club, with the opportunity to putt for over €500,000 !! See http://www.beringergolf.com for T&C’s and further details.
