TopGolfer Champions Sustainability with Major Plastic Reduction and Reforestation Initiative.

The TopGolfer Tour is proud to announce a major step forward in its commitment to sustainability with major plastic reduction and reforestation initiative. As part of its ongoing green initiatives, the organization has eliminated over 2,800 single-use plastic water bottles from its golf events in 2025.

In place of plastic bottles, refillable water stations are now a permanent feature at every TopGolfer event, ensuring that players and attendees stay hydrated while helping reduce environmental impact.

To support this shift, TopGolfer has introduced branded, eco-friendly water bottles made from 100% recycled plastic. These durable, reusable bottles are available for purchase at events for €10 RRP.

In a further effort to give back to the environment, 100% of the proceeds from bottle sales will go toward purchasing and planting sapling oak trees at partner golf venues across the country, helping to create a lasting legacy of sustainability on and off the course.

“This initiative isn’t just about removing plastic, it’s about rethinking how we approach environmental responsibility in sport. We feel passionate about doing our part for the environment, as do our title partners Flogas ,” said Dermot Synnott, Tour Director at TopGolfer. He went on to say: “By introducing refill stations and supporting tree planting, we’re empowering players to take meaningful action. Together, we’re making sustainability an integral part of the game.”
