At the end of a busy tour season, the TopGolfer Team will be packing their bags and flying to Catalonia to take advantage of the glorious Spanish weather. For the second year running, we’ll be running away from the harsh Irish winter, and we’d be delighted to invite TopGolfer’s along to join us.

Managed by the team at Destination Golf, partners to the TopGolfer Tour, the Catalonia International Golf Festival (CIGF) has grabbed the attention of golfers from all over Europe. The event is an Open Singles event across 3-days, where anybody with an Official handicap can participate. A player’s two best scores from the three rounds will go forward for prizes, which will be presented at the gala meal on the final night. With the Catalonia Tourist Board as its’ main sponsor, is sure to be a great few days in the sun for those that come along..

Taking place from Tuesday 20th November to Friday 23rd November, CIGF 2012 will be based in Platja d’Aro, a lively seaside town in the Costa Brava that has been enjoyed by golfing tourists for many years. The three tournament rounds of CIGF 2012 will take place at Emporda Golf Resort, Platja de Pals Golf Club, Club de Golf D’Aro.

The Package Price costs €575, but Destination Golf have kindly offered a 15% discount to any TopGolfer players that wish to come along – be it an individual golfer, group of golfers or a couple. In fact, a non-golf itinerary is also available for wives, partners or friends.
