The TopGolfer Tour has been coming to Mt Wolseley Golf Club for 4 years, as TopGolfer players always enjoy the challenge that is provided by the magnificent Christy O Connor design. The course was perfectly manicured, but playing from the white tees with a firm breeze blowing provided a serious challenge – which was displayed by the CSS increasing to 74 (+2).

Having been out of action for most of the 2013 golf season, Karl Ryan came back with a vengeance to storm home to victory in the 2013Junior Scratch. The man from Athy superbly carved out a round of 73 (+1) - a marvellous round of golf on a testing Championship layout.

Also on 73-gross was Keith Cohalan from Ballybunion GC, who lost out on a last 6-countaback. Three bogies in the last four holes have proven costly for Keith, but 2273 OOM points will certainly help him to close in on 1st place in the Kelkin Revive Order of Merit 2013.

Other prize winners on the day were Philip Callaghan (Mt. Wolselesy) in 3rd place on 75 gross, and 4th place went to Andy Kavanagh from Blainroe GC. Best Nett was won by Stephen Green from Baltinglass GC. Prize winners should contact the Pro Shop at Mount Wolseley to arrange the collection / delivery of their prize.
