The TopGolfer Tour returned to the seaside course of Charlesland Golf Club in Greystones, Co. Wicklow. A full time sheet of players arrived from far and wide to claim one of the last spots at the TopGolfer Finals, before the Tour heads West for its season ending weekend in Galway.

Victory on the day went to Michael Kavanagh Jnr from Woodenbridge Golf Club, who claimes his second Tour win of the 2013 season, having won his home Junior Scratch event back in August.

Second place went to David Daly from Waterville GC, who matched Michaels’ score of 74 gross but was edged on a last 6 count back. As Michael has already won a Tour event, his invitation goes to the runner up on the day, meaning that David Daly bows out of the Kelkin Revive Order of Merit (was in 11th place) and goes forward to the TopGolfer Tour Championships at The Heritage.

Another 74 gross was recorded by Stephen Gethings from Co Meath GC, already a winner on Tour this year at The Castle JSC. Fourth place went to Joe Joe Smyth from Slievenamon GC, also a Tour winner this year at Beaverstown JSC.

Six players shot 77 gross, but last place in the prizes was Charlie Denvir from Milltown GC on count back, by way of a level par back nine.

24 visitors finished in the top 25 places, making it a truly competitive event.

Prize winners (1st to 5th) are advised to contact Charlesland Pro Shop to arrange the delivery / collection of their prize.
