Maher leaves his Mark at Kilcock JSC
After investing millions into a redesign, new greens and irrigation system, we felt it was only right to bring Irelands single figure golfers to Kilcock Golf Club to test it for themselves in 2013 and again in 2014.The TopGolfer Tour is very proud to be associated with a visionary golf club like Kilcock, and they’ve got a new group of admirers after a cracking Junior Scratch event.
Big congratulations to Niall Maher from Mountrath Golf Club, winner of the Kilcock JSC 2014 after a superb 75-gross. Playing off 6-hanidcap, Niall’s super round was good enough to edge past local favourite Eoin Field (4) from Kilcock Golf Club on a last 6 countback. Niall now goes forward to the TopGolfer Tour Championships at Portmarnock Links later this year – an event that he also qualified for in 2013 after winning Bunclody JSC.
Also shooting 75-gross was Derek McGrath (5) from Lucan Golf Club who took 3rd place. Order of Merit competitor Niall O’Sullivan (5) from Callan Golf Club took 4th place, and 5th place went to Martin Scott (4) from Hollystown Golf Club.
