The renowned Druids Glen offers manicured, tree-lined fairways, historical landmarks, spectacular water features and vibrant floral displays. Known to many as the “Augusta of Europe” and a host to the Irish Open for four consecutive years as well as the prestigious Seve Trophy, many of the golfing greats have played and been tested here. It made for a fitting venue of the TopGolfer Tour Championships 2017, Ireland’s only amateur golf circuit for the most passionate and dedicated golfers.

After 36 events across 7-months and close to 4000 competitors this season, there can only be one winner !

Congrats to Jamie McDonald from Carlow GC, who edged past defending champion Michael Stewart from Rockmount GC, to become Ireland’s TopGolfer Tour Champion 2017.

As Irish Champion, Jamie will be representing Ireland (and the TopGolfer Tour) at the Oitavos Trophy in Lisbon next Spring 2018. Best of luck Jamie, hopefully you can do the double.
