O’Sullivan wins at Kilcock JSC
After investing in the upgrade of their course a few years ago, it’s clear to see that Kilcock Golf Club is now enjoying the fruits of their renovations. The course was presented in excellent condition, with Tournament level putting surfaces.
Strong winds swept across the course for most of the day, providing tough conditions for the players. It’s no surprise that the CSS increased to 74 with ‘reductions only’ being applied.
Victory on the day went to John O’Sullivan from Slade Valley GC on 79-gross, edging past local member Jason Corscadden on a back-9 countback.Regular top finisher Stephen Finlan from Dumurry Springs GC took 3rd place on 80-gross. Also on 80-gross were Cormac McCarthy from Kilcock GC and PJ Doyle from Mountain View GC, who finished 4th and 5th respectively. Rory Murphy from Mountain View GC won the best nett with 73-nett.
These six prize winners (1st – 5th Gross plus 1st Nett) need to email TopGolfer on [email protected] to arrange the collection/ delivery of their prize.
The Nature Valley Order of Merit table will be updated on Monday 18th, after completion of all events this weekend.
