Pat Errity wins County Wicklow Scratch

Pat Errity (+2) won three titles on Sunday with his win at Delgany which included County Wicklow Scratch Cup Champion, Delgany Scratch Cup Champion and Championship TopGolfer. Competing on home turf, the Delgany member shot rounds of 66 & 68 for an impressive total of 134 to win by a superb 7 strokes. Runner-up went to Geoff Lenehan (scratch) of Portmarnock GC with consistency over his 2 rounds of 70 & 71 for a total of 141. In third place was “TopGolfer” Dermot Synnott (3) with 73 & 70 for total of 143 and in fourth was David Kelleher who charged back after an opening round 78 to shoot 67 in the afternoon for a total of 145.

There were 78 competitors playing in great conditions but it was the pins that set the challenge and asked alot of questions for the approaches.
