Portmarnock Links Results 2015
After hosting the TopGolfer Tour Championships last October, the TopGolfer Tour was delighted to return to Portmarnock Links. The north Dublin links venue proved to be a highly successful addition to the 2015 Tour, with over 200 players travelling from all four corners of the country to compete on the day.
Scoring wasn’t easy as strong winds battered the links all day.
In the Senior Scratch, victory went to Declan O’Neill from Carton House on 70-gross (-1). 2nd place was Robert Neville from Portmarnock Links on 72-gross (+1), who beat Gerard Dunne from Co Louth GC on a countback. 4th place went to Colm Crowley and 5th place went to Ross McCormack from Naas GC. In the Junior Scratch, victory went to Adam Price from Delgany GC. A superb score of 71-gross was good enough to win by a comfortable 3-shots, made all the better as he teed up late in the day when the wind was at its strongest. 2nd place went to Fintan Brennan from Portmarnock Links GC on 74-gross, a score that was posted early in the day and looked good all day long. 3rd place went to Eamonn Keane from Portmarnock Links on 75-gross, pipping Colin Donnet from Deer Park GC on a back 9 countback. 5th place went to Damian O’Driscoll from Newlands GC.
