Rob Fitzpatrick is the TopGolfer Tour Champion for 2010. Rob (4) of Dunmurry Springs Golf Club had secured his place at the first ever TopGolfer Tour Championship with tour wins at his home club as well as Rathsallagh Golf Club. He beat 22 other tour winners in style over the Championship Montgomerie Course at Carton House - finishing with a total of 143 shots (-1) for his 36 holes and a stunning 5 shots clear of the field. He had to earn it too because it was his partner for the final round, Derek Basquille (3) of Enniscrone Golf Club who held the lead going in to Sunday on -2 after some excellent golf on Saturday. The two exchanged the lead five times until Basquille found trouble on the 14th hole and from there it was down to Fitzpatrick to hold his head to secure the title.

Third place went to David Kiely (3) of Tramore Golf Club who held of the challenge of Richard Bridges (0) of Stackstown Golf Club and Ciaran O’Brien (6) who qualified for the Tour Championship with his win at Ashbourne Golf Club.
