Robert McCarthy takes title of TopGolfer at Bray

Robert McCarthy from the Island claimed victory in the 36-hole Senior Scratch at Bray Golf Club today.

Off the blue markers, Bray showed just how difficult it can play as the css came in at 72 (+1) for each round.

The morning round produced a superb course record equalling 66 (-5) by Alan Condren of Greystones Golf Club.
 
But solid rounds of 68 and 70 by Robert Mc Carthy, the lowest player in the field at +2 handicap a superb total if 138 that sends him through to the finals in Carton House.
 
A total of 23 golf clubs were represented in a superb day out at Bray Golf Club. More to follow…..
