The TopGolfer Tour was delighted to include Mountrath Golf Club as a new venue for the 2014 Tour. Centrally located 2 miles from Mountrath and just off the N7, the course was an ideal venue to attract players from around the country.

Famed for its well-manicured greens, a short game specialist was always going to prevail. Victory went to Stephen Rowland from Abbeyleix Golf Club. The 4-handicap golfer posted a superb 72-gross to win by 1-shot from club mate Andrew Bonham. Niall O’Sullivan from Callan GC took 3rd, earning a nice few OOM points along the way.

4th place went to Quim Vidal from Spain, shooting 74-gross. Best Nett went to Shane Conroy from Mountrath GC.
