It seemed appropriate that Sean Cannon (scratch) from Loughrea GC should be in inaugural Senior Scratch Cup Champion at his home club. The most consistent of the small field over the 2 rounds, Cannon showed his nouse and ability to take the title by 2 strokes.

Sean is the first Senior Scratch Winner on the 2012 TG Tour and in so doing as secured his place at the TG Tour Championship at Fota Island in October. Sean also received a customised Callaway RAZR Driver from our tour partners at Callaway Golf.
