Shanahan does it again
Mark Shanahan (+2) from Castlemartyr GC stormed home to victory in the Fota Island SSC with a superb gross score of 69 (-2). Well used to winning, this is the 3rd consecutive season that Mark has won a TopGolfer Tour event, having won the Dromoland SSC (2012), Bunclody SSC (2013), and the Fota Island SSC (2014). Mark will now go forward to the TopGolfer PlayOffs at New Forest GC later this year.
Second place went to Sean Barry (+1) from Fota Island GC. A superb effort of 70-gross (-1) in testing conditions. Third place went to John O’Brien (Scr) on 73 gross (+1), also from Castlemartyr GC.
