On sun drenched day at Knightsbrook, Robert Fitzpatrick (3) rose to the top of the leaderboard to take victory in this prestigious Senior Scratch Cup. Having previously won the TopGolfer Tour Championship back in 2010, it’s no surprise to see the man from Dunmurry Springs rise to the top yet again. A super two under par gross of 70 was good enough to win by 2-shots. This victory also earns Robert a place in the TopGolfer Tour Championships later this year.

Runner up on the day was Gerard Casey (2) from Mountain View GC, skilfully carving out a level par 72 gross. This score was good enough to edge past Stephen Gethings (4) from Co. Meath GC on a back 9 countback.

Competing in the 2014 Order of Merit, Stephens back to back 3rd place finishes in the Glen of the Downs SSC and now the Knightsbrook SSC has catapulted him to the top of the OOM leaderboard.

Local man Colin Rayfus (3) from Knightsbrook GC took 4th place, one shot back on 73-gross. Last in the prizes was Gordon Eivers (5) from Forest Little GC who took 5th place on74 gross.
