We’re back and we’ve been busy!!

Where to begin? Ok, the tour is back and we’ve grown to 45 events. All of our events from last year are back except for the event at Galgorm Castle which we’ve decided to replace with a Senior Scratch Cup at the fantastic Warrenpoint GC. Other clubs which are new to the schedule include The K Club (Senior & Junior Scratch Cups), Concra Wood (also 2 events), New Forest (Senior Scratch), South County (2 events), Cork Golf Club (Junior Scratch) and Glen of the Downs (Junior Scratch).

We have tried to improve the layout of our scheduled events on our web site to make it easier for you to plan and get information. There is also an option to ‘subscribe to our calendar’ which will automatically pull the schedule into your outlook calendar on your pc or onto your phone so you’ve no excuse to miss an event.

Now, this is important, WE NEED YOU TO REGISTER WITH OUR SITE AGAIN THIS YEAR. Over 5,000 of you registered with us last year, but we have re-built our site to add a new player profile section as this will all link in with our Order of Merit. So, please take a minute to register with us again – if you have a facebook account, you can connect to us using that which will make it even quicker.

That brings us to our new Order of Merit – the Kelkin Revive Order of Merit. We’ve designed it after lots of feedback and input from last year’s members and players. We hope it will do a few things, namely generate even more interest in our events and our tour; bring a greater sense of a ‘tour life’ for our competitors; provide us with another ‘end-of-season’ event and; for the many who tried and tried again last year but didn’t manage to make it to the tour championship, it will offer ANOTHER chance to qualify for Druids Glen.

A smooth introduction to the new venue for our Tour Championship! Carton House was a superb host for our inaugural Tour Championship and we know that expectations will be high for this year. That’s exactly why we have chosen Druids Glen as the host to our 2011 TopGolfer Tour Championship. It has possibly Ireland’s best parkland golf course, a history as a top European Tour venue and all the 5 star hotel and spa trimmings we think our Tour Championship qualifiers richly deserve. We’ve also moved the event forward by 2 weeks to the first weekend in October .

So thanks for all your patience while we worked on our improvements. Don’t forget to register with us again and buy a bag tag if you want to compete in the Order of Merit.
