The TopGolfer Tour returned to the popular venue of Blainroe Golf Club, this time for an exciting double-header that saw a 36-hole Junior Scratch Cup and a 36-hole Senior Scratch Cup run simultaneously. It’s no surprise that this twin event grabbed the attention of golfers, which created a brilliant occasion for the players and a great atmosphere around the club

In the Senior Scratch Cup, Roy Connolly from Rathsallagh GC edged out defending Champion Alan Condren (pictured here) from Greystones GC by 1-shot with a total score of 141. After finishing 2nd in the Beaverstown Senior Scratch a few weeks previous, this was a sweet victory for Roy. 3rd place went to Peter Kirby from Bray GC and 4th place went to Adam Doran from Ardee GC.

The Junior Scratch Cup, Blainroe members raced home in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places to take all of the prizes. The event was won by Andy Kavanagh on 148 after rounds of 77-71, who along with Roy Connolly now goes forward to the TopGolfer PlayOffs at Concra Wood later this year. The other prize winners were: 2nd Ciaran Lally, 3rd Conor Dean, 4th Joe Hughes.

Many thanks again to our Sponsor Partners ECCO Golf, Callaway Golf, IJP Design and Motocaddy for their wonderful prizes.
